Evelyn Wise Kelley, 89, formerly of Memphis, TN., died Thursday March 14, 2019, at Transitions Life Care Hospice in Raleigh, NC. She was born December 11, 1929, in New Albany to Joe and Estelle Benjamin Wise. She was a member of Oakhaven Baptist Church in Memphis, TN., and was a retired childcare provider.

She is survived by 1 daughter: Linda Harris (Larry) of Youngsville, NC; 2 sisters: Bernice Whitehead of New Albany and Berlie Shifflett of Olive Branch, MS.; 1 grandson: Doug Harris (Annie Mason-Harris) of Henderson, NC.; and 1 step-great-granddaughter: Amelia Mason.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Glenn M. Kelley; 1 son: Glenn Kelley, Jr.; 2 sisters: Faye Fields and May Robbins; and 1 brother: Rayburn Wise.

Pallbearers will be Brian Whitehead, Ken Shifflett, Larry Shifflett, Terry Fields, Tim Broom, and Bob Rowland.
