George Washingtons spy ring: Luncheon with Books August 18

New Albany’s Luncheon with Books will be Tuesday, August 18 at the Jennie Stephens Smith Library. Linda Everett will review Brian Kilmeade’s  George Washington’s Secret Six:  The Spy Ring That Saved the American Revolution. George Washington realized he couldn’t defeat the British with military might, so he recruited a top secret group to infiltrate New York. Kilmeade did extensive research to bring this group of spies to light to receive their kudos as American heroes. Historic Northside District Garden Club will host a light lunch beginning at 11:30 AM
