July 21, 1989 – October 24, 2026
Ginger Annette Robbins Kilcrease, 37, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 24, 2026, as the result of an automobile accident. Her sudden passing leaves a deep sadness in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever treasure the memories of her life and the place she held in theirs.
Funeral services celebrating Ginger’s life will be at 12 Noon Friday October 30, 2026, in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton and Bro. Kenneth Harrison officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM Thursday night October 29, 2026, at Ripley Funeral Home and will continue from 10 AM until time of service on Friday. Burial with a graveside service will follow in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born July 21, 1989, in New Albany, Mississippi, Ginger was the daughter of Danny and Virginia Robbins Erwin. She was a 2007 graduate of Falkner High School and had worked in the furniture industry at Ashley Furniture and Albany Industries. She had also attended Lowry Church.
Ginger had a creative spirit and enjoyed the simple things that made life her own. Drawing, painting, coloring, and making crafts gave her ways to express herself, and her imagination extended to her love of writing books. Whether through a picture, a handmade creation, or words on a page, she found joy in bringing her ideas to life.
The outdoors held a special place in Ginger’s heart. She enjoyed fishing, traveling the backroads, and spending time around a campfire, content with a cigarette and a little time to unwind. Those simple moments, away from the hurry of everyday life, were among the things she loved. She also had a tender heart for dogs, especially her beloved pets, Aldi, Lucy, Pete, and Lil Girl, who brought companionship and joy to her life.
With her family, Ginger was outgoing and unmistakably herself. She had her own ways, her own personality, and a presence that those closest to her will always remember. Her sons, Carson and Aiden, held a place in her heart that belonged only to them. The bond between a mother and her children becomes part of their story forever, and Ginger’s memory will remain an enduring part of theirs.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Carson Cook and Aiden Kilcrease; her parents, Danny and Virginia Robbins Erwin; her siblings, John Erwin (Jennifer) and Jamaka Erwin; her honorary parents, Bud and Sue Sides; her special aunt, Beverly Stanton; and her special friends, Jessica Barkley and Mikayla Hunter.
She was preceded in death by her beloved Nanny and Papaw, Odell and Lillie Mae Robbins; her uncle, Luther Robbins; and her cousin, Candie Mauney.
There are no words that can fully ease the sorrow of a life ending so unexpectedly or replace the time her loved ones hoped they would still share. Yet within that sorrow are memories that will remain familiar conversations, moments of laughter, and the everyday things that made Ginger who she was. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her and remembered with love in the days and years to come.
