Grant helps students learn with sights and sound

Students in Mrs. Balinda Denton’s and Mrs. Carolyn Hall’s kindergarten classroom at New Albany Elementary School have enjoyed learning this year with some fun, hands-on activities.

These were made possible by the Dean Provence Endowment for Excellence in Education grant program. This grant provided the classroom with various hands-on activities with sight words, beginning sounds, ending sounds, building words, rhyming, sound switch and syllables.
