Guest professor to review Light in August at Luncheon with Books

New Albany, MS- Tuesday, September 20, Luncheon with Books will be held at the Jennie Stephens Smith Library in New Albany. This will be a literary event for the Faulkner Literary Fest.

Kate Stewart, an English professor at the University of Arkansas, at Monticello, will review William Faulkner’s Light in August, which is the feature book for the 2016 Literary Fest. Kate Stewart holds a BA, MA, and PhD in English from the University of Mississippi. She has been published extensively in books, journals, and scholarly publications.

The Union County Retired Teachers Association will provide a light lunch at 11:30AM, with Dr. Stewart’s review of Faulkner’s Light in August to begin at noon.
