PLANTERSVILLE – Mrs. Marlin (Halove Lindley) Morgan, known far and wide as Mudgie, realized the promises of her faith as she slept in her bed at Generations Assisted Living on Monday, December 20, 2024. Halove was given 102 incredible years on this earth and made a difference in every life she touched. She and her late husband, Marlin, farmed in the Plantersville area generationally and were merchants owning Quality Foods, the leading grocery store in Plantersville for years. Halove was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marlin, and two sons, Freddy Morgan and Harry Morgan. She is survived by her two daughters, Martha Jean Shipp (Philip), and Jan Medlin (Johnny), and all her grands, great-grands and great-great-grands.

A service celebrating her life will be held at 2 PM Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with private burial to follow in Plantersville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 PM-service time on Sunday only.
