The huge gantry crane erected by contractor Barnhart Crane and Rigging was complete and put to work Wednesday in downtown Tupelo. The heavy-lift machine is loading electric generating equipment from the former Enron power plant in eastern Union County onto flat rail cars for shipment to Texas. The tan building at right center of photo is the  New Albany city hall.
