Hundreds of students participate in Career & Technology Day, Job Fair

The School of Career & Technical Education at New Albany High School hosted Career & Technology Day and a Job Fair on Monday, May 13. The purpose of the day was to introduce students from New Albany High School and the School of Career & Technical Education, as well as fifth graders from New Albany Elementary School to the advanced and diverse technology that is being used in business and industries.

In addition, a Job Fair was held for juniors and seniors from New Albany High School and Union County Schools. Business and industries were on hand to accept applications and schedule interviews for students seeking summer, part-time, or seasonal jobs.

Medical, law enforcement, government, business/industries and other agencies participated in the events for more than 500 students.

Career & Technology Day was made possible by these participating agencies:
