Internal Medicine and Pediatric Medicine

,

On a recent trip to Tupelo, NEMiss.News stopped by the site of the soon-to-be new Internal Medicine and Pediatric Clinic (IMPC) in Saltillo, MS.  It is an expansion of Internal Medicine and Pediatric Clinic of New Albany (IMPCNA). The site construction manager on duty that day said that they would be turning the building over to IMPC on June 1, 2024, and that it would be a beautiful building to work in.

Information from IMPCNA Marketing Director Ryann Davis verifies the site manager’s expected timetable.  She says that, as long as everything goes according to plan, the building should be finished in time to begin moving in  furniture, etc. at the beginning of June.

IMPC is expecting to begin providing medical care to patients in Saltillo in early July 2024.  NEMiss.News is aware of numerous patients who will be glad to decrease their travel time to IMPC medical services.

Baptist Hospital VIPs at IM&PC groundbreaking

Where it all began: IM&PC groundbreaking VIPs ready to “dig in”, April 6, 2017.

It has only been a little over 7 years since IMPC broke ground for their current facility in New Albany on April 6, 2017. They moved their practice into that facility on November 1, 2017, and have built and maintained a reputation for excellent patient care that reaches well beyond Union County.

The size of the Saltillo operation will be very similar to the one at New Albany. There are  27 exam rooms in  New Albany and there will be 26 exam rooms in Saltillo.

According to Davis, “All IMPC doctors will be seeing patients in Saltillo. There will be typically be 2 doctors at Saltillo initially. We anticipate adding more physician availability there as the need increases. We will still have capability to directly admit patients to Baptist Hospital.”

The Saltillo clinic will offer everything that the New Albany Clinic provides, including Chronic Care Management  (CCM) and the Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program. Urgent care will be available 6 days a week from open to close, with no appointment necessary. As always, Internal Medicine and Pediatric Clinic will see people of all ages from 0-100!

Eventually, there will be other businesses in the building. Davis says, “We don’t know yet who will be our neighbors in the building, but are excited to work with them in providing exceptional care to our patients.”

The street address of the new clinic is 119 City Market Drive, Saltillo, MS, 38866. A Suite number will be assigned at move-in.
