Irene Elizabeth Leininger, 82, died Saturday, March 16, 2019, at BMHUC. She was born June 17, 1936, in Foreman, Arkansas, to Barney M. and Iva Etheridge Bishop. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at United with a memorial service to follow with Bro. Wayne Ward officiating. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Tabitha Leininger of Thaxton, MS., and Gena Ormstead (Robert) of Illinois; 1 son: Bobby Griffin (Paula) of Thaxton, MS.; 1 sister: Helen Sokulski of Dallas, TX.; 1 brother: Doyle Bishop (Bonnie) of Foreman, AR.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Earl Leon Leininger; 1 son: Joseph Glen Griffin; and several brothers and sisters.
