La Sra. Irma Martinez, de 58 años, entró en su hogar celestial eterno el jueves por la noche, 7 de agosto de 2025, en su residencia en el condado de Tippah. Con gracia y paz, recibió su corona de justicia y ahora adora con gozo a los pies de su Salvador, Jesucristo, a quien amó y sirvió con todo su corazón.

El servicio en celebración de la vida de la Sra. Irma se llevará a cabo el lunes, 11 de agosto de 2025, a las 2 p.m. en la Capilla Heritage de Ripley Funeral Home. La visitación será desde el mediodía hasta la hora del servicio. Será sepultada en el Cementerio de Ashland. No habrá servicio en la tumba.

Nacida el 25 de abril de 1967 en Tamaulipas, México, la Sra. Irma fue la amada hija del fallecido Jesús Martinez y Alicia Martinez Rodríguez. Se unió en matrimonio con el amor de su vida, Juan Banda Cervantes, y juntos construyeron un hogar centrado en la fe, el amor y la familia. La Sra. Irma fue el corazón de ese hogar—una esposa devota, madre amorosa y orgullosa abuela—quien llenó cada día con calidez, propósito y un cuidado inquebrantable. Desde preparar comidas con amor hasta guiar a sus hijos en los caminos del Señor, la vida de la Sra. Irma fue un ejemplo viviente de devoción cristiana y servicio desinteresado.

Miembro fiel del Centro de Adoración Familiar, la Sra. Irma vivió cada día como testimonio de la bondad de Dios. Fue una guerrera de oración cuyas intercesiones trajeron paz y consuelo a muchos. Su Biblia estaba bien usada y muy amada, ya que la leía y estudiaba con dedicación, permitiendo que la Palabra de Dios moldeara su vida y carácter. Ya fuera en oración, alabanza o con manos serviciales, la presencia de la Sra. Irma en la iglesia era constante y confiable—siempre dispuesta a servir donde se necesitara.

Fuera de su vida espiritual, la Sra. Irma encontraba gozo en la belleza de los momentos cotidianos. Cuidaba con amor su hogar y sus muchas plantas, convirtiendo su espacio en un santuario de paz. Encontraba satisfacción al cocinar para su gran y amorosa familia, asegurándose de que nadie saliera de su casa con hambre—ni física ni espiritualmente. Pero tal vez lo que más apreciaba era cada momento junto a su esposo, apoyándolo fielmente y caminando a su lado como una verdadera compañera de vida.

El legado de la Sra. Irma es de fe inquebrantable, amor sin límites y fortaleza silenciosa. Aunque ha dejado esta vida terrenal, su influencia vivirá en las vidas que tocó y en las oraciones que elevó. Su familia descansa en la bendita seguridad de que ahora está regocijándose en la presencia de su Salvador, rodeada por la gloria del Cielo.

Mrs. Irma Martinez, age 58, entered into her eternal heavenly home on Thursday night, August 7, 2025, at her residence in Tippah County. With grace and peace, she earned her crown of righteousness and now worships joyfully at the feet of her Savior, Jesus Christ—whom she loved and served with her whole heart.

A service celebrating Mrs. Irma’s life will be held at 2 PM on Monday, August 11, 2025, in the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of service. She will be laid to rest in Ashland Cemetery. There will be no graveside service.

Born on April 25, 1967, in Tamaulipas, Mexico, Mrs. Irma was the beloved daughter of the late Jesus Martinez and Alicia Martinez Rodriguez. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Juan Banda Cervantes, and together they built a home centered on faith, love, and family. Mrs. Irma was the heart of that home—a devoted wife, nurturing mother, and proud grandmother—who filled each day with warmth, purpose, and unwavering care. From preparing meals with love to guiding her children in the ways of the Lord, Mrs. Irma’s life was a living example of Christian devotion and selfless service.

A faithful member of Centro de Adoración Familiar, Mrs. Irma lived every day as a testimony to God’s goodness. She was a prayer warrior whose intercessions brought peace and comfort to many. Her Bible was well-worn and well-loved, as she read and studied it with dedication, allowing God’s Word to shape her life and character. Whether through prayer, praise, or helping hands, Mrs. Irma’s presence in the church was constant and dependable—always eager to serve wherever she was needed.

Outside her spiritual life, Mrs. Irma found joy in the beauty of everyday moments. She lovingly tended to her home and her many plants, turning her space into a sanctuary of peace. She found fulfillment in cooking for her large and loving family, making sure no one left her home hungry—physically or spiritually. But perhaps most of all, she cherished every moment spent alongside her husband, faithfully supporting him and walking beside him as a true partner in life.

Mrs. Irma’s legacy is one of unwavering faith, boundless love, and quiet strength. Though she has left this earthly life, her influence will live on in the lives she touched and the prayers she prayed. Her family rests in the blessed assurance that she is now rejoicing in the presence of her Savior, surrounded by the glory of Heaven.

Those left to carry on her legacy include her husband, Mr. Juan, one daughter, Daisy Cuevas, three sons, Jesus Banda (Ashley Banda), Uriel Banda, and Diego Banda, two sisters, Teresa Martinez, and Natividad Martinez, five brothers, Santiago Martinez, Armando Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Ruben Martinez, and Juan Jose Martinez, seven grandchildren, Madalynn, Chandler, Arabella, Zaydee, Alexander, Alicia, and Lucas, and one great grandchild, Julion.
