It’s Tallahatchie Riverfest time in New Albany
New Albany’s annual Tallahatchie Riverfest is Saturday, September 26th, in Historic Downtown New Albany!
This year’s theme is Soul, Grit & Guitar.
General admission is free to Riverfest Festival and the evening concert. Headliners for the free evening concert are Paul Thorn and Bobby Rush. Admission to Kid Zone and Case Knife are listed below.
NOTE: Road Closure: Main St. (East Bankhead) and Carter Avenue will be closed Saturday September 26th from 8 am – 11 pm.
As always, there will be a Marketplace, daytime music at the Tanglefoot Trailhead Plaza, and food trucks galore.
Schedule & Highlights
- 9:00 AM: Festival and Riverfest Marketplace open with arts, crafts, specialty vendors, and food trucks.
- Daytime Music: Performances at Trailhead Plaza featuring Tanglefoot Sounds (Mike Cater & Chad Nolan, Leah Rose, and CJ Lane & Friends).
- Noon: Rotary Rubber Duck Race
- Family Activities: Riverfest Kid Zone (Rascal’s Hangout) featuring bounce houses ($10 wristband), horse rides, and a petting zoo.
- Special Features: Case Knife Celebration in the Marketplace with a limited-edition 2026 commemorative knife and a Bowie knife raffle ($5 per ticket).
- 5:00 PM (River Stage): Free evening concert lineup begins:
