Jamie Bonee, 81
December 21, 1943 – March 13, 2025
Ms. Jamie Cheryl Bonee departed this world on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, surrounded by her loving family.
Services celebrating the life of Ms. Bonee will be at 1 PM Tuesday March 18, 2025, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Dr. Jack Bennett officiating and burial following in the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of service on Tuesday March 18, 2025, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Home.
Ms. Bonee was born on December 21, 1943, in La Porte Indiana to the late James Calvin and Pauline Hahn Farrer and attended Bremen High School. A Christian, Ms. Jamie worked for many years as a cabinet maker with the Holiday Rambler and Marathon RV companies.
A granddaughter to a World War 1 Veteran, daughter to a World War 2 Veteran, sister to Vietnam Veterans, and mother to a Gulf War Veteran, Ms. Bonee was very patriotic and exhibited a great sense of pride for her country. Very quick witted and outspoken, you never had to wonder what she thought. Ms. Jamie will be remembered as a risk taker, a “gambler” if you will and could be found creating football boards, listening to blues music or working crossword puzzles. The love for her family was immeasurable and Ms. Jamie greatly enjoyed the time she shared with them, especially her grandchildren. Holding fast to the belief that no obstacle was ever too great to overcome, she was a survivor and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memories include three daughters, Nadine Graves (Jimmy) of Ashland, Wanette Lindsey (Terry) of Ripley and Billi Miley of Plymouth IN, two sons, Darren Miley (Lynn) of Baldwyn and Shane Miley of Jenison MI, two brothers, Kent and Randy Farrer, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, two special cousins, Sally Smith and Jack Farrer, special friends, Hope and Thomas Joshlin, Wayne Braddock and Alton Spight, her caregiver, Victoria Turner and her granddog, “Lemy.”
