Janice Summers Leach, 76

November 18, 1949 – May 12, 2026

BELDEN – Janice Carol Summers Leach, at age 76, departed this earthly pilgrimage for her life in eternity on May 12, 2026. Born on November 18, 1949, in Tupelo to longtime Belden pioneer families, she was the daughter of the late Walter Troy “W.T.” Summers and Jean Young Summers. She graduated from Tupelo High School and worked in her mother’s dress shop, Two Sisters, for many years. Janice lived a life of simplicity, grace and love, having as her priority her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She and her family attended Belden Baptist Church.

Janice leaves behind her children, Dana Langley (Joseph) and Chad Leach, both of Tupelo; her grandchildren, Britteny Perez (Angel), Christopher Leach and Cody Langley; her great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Perez, Adalynn Perez and Aiden Langley; her brother, Walt Summers (Ginger) of Belden and sister-in-law, Janice Summers. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.T. and Jean Summers, and a beloved brother, David Summers, and other family members.
