Jeffrey Leon Enlow, 66

December 5, 1959  –  January 5, 2026

Richmond Community-Most folks called him “Cowboy”, a name he cherished and lived up to most of his life. Jeffrey Leon Enlow made his last roundup on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026 at NMMC in Tupelo after a brief period of declining health. He was 66 years old. Jeff was born in Lee County, MS. on December 5, l959 to the late Leon Enlow and Dorotha Ann Williams Enlow. He grew up in the Mooreville/Richmond area and graduated from Mooreville High School in 1977 where he was a standout football player. He attended ICC where he played on the football team. Early in his life, he assisted his dad, Leon in managing and maintaining the Mooreville/Richmond Water Association all the while keeping a herd of cattle on the family farm. A rugged outdoorsman, he loved hunting all animals, riding his horses, tending his herd of cattle and “chillin” as he called it with his family and friends. He loved hanging out at Dago’s. Jeff was a longtime member of Boguefala Baptist Church.



A Graveside service will take place at 1 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Andrews Chapel Cemetery with Bro. David Gillentine officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM-1 at Andrews Chapel Church. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be assisting their friends. Pallbearers will be Mark Enlow, Lee Enlow, Ray Carroll, Doug Threadgill, Trevor Reich, Kenny Scott, Ted Wood, and Dennis Case. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Leslie and the “eating bunch” at Dago’s Store.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Rhonda Cooper Enlow; 2 sons, Mark Enlow (Laura) and Lee Enlow (Kathryn) all of Richmond; 1 daughter, Anna Leigh McCallum (Ben) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Boone Enlow, Hank Enlow, Beau Enlow, Mack Enlow, Brooks McCallum and Hunt McCallum; his siblings, Gena Vail (Robert) of Mooreville, Dottie Carnathan (Carey) of Auburn and John Enlow (Chari) of Pontotoc; two sisters in law, Nancy Hammond (Rich) and Faye Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Ann Enlow and his in laws, Earline Cooper and Elvin “Dago” Cooper and a brother-in-law, James Cooper.
