Jessie “Boo” McWilliams, 49
July 27, 1975 – February 11, 2025
Jessie Junior McWilliams was born on July 27, 1975, to the late Jessie Gilbert and Mary Ann McWilliams in New Albany, Mississippi. Surrounded by his loving family, he departed this life and entered into eternal rest on February 11, 2025.
Jessie accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Adkins Chapel United Methodist Church in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. He graduated from W. P. Daniel High School in New Albany, Mississippi. Jessie was a proud businessman and owned his own trucking company, BMF Trucking, LLC.
As an avid hunter and fisherman, Jessie loved the outdoors. He enjoyed riding and taking care of his horses. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Jessie will be missed by many. His legacy of love, laughter, and strength will continue to live in the hearts of the ones that were blessed to know him.
Jessie was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Gilbert; and grandmother, Lula Gilbert.
He leaves to cherish his treasured memories: his wife, Taliah Hasan McWilliams; mother, Mary Ann McWilliams; children, Danortis Mirage McWilliams (Kayla Vilayvanh), Micah Isaiah McWilliams (Brianna Little), Keona MarKiesha McWilliams, and Michael Hayes; siblings, Reggie McWilliams (Shavon), Gracie Adair (Earskin), Jennifer Biggs, Jessie Gilbert, Jr., and Jermaine Smith; grandchildren, Kayana and AJ; honorary grandchild, Paris Adraina Spratt; grandmother, Louise Richardson of Kankakee, IL; grandfather, Ira Lee Estes of Racine, WI; TT Connie Smith of Ripley, MS; as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Viewing will be Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at New Birth Community Church in New Albany, MS. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at New Birth Community Church in New Albany, MS. Per family request, there will be no photos or videos allowed.
