John Doyle Bowen, 67, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born June 4,1951 in Shreveport, LA to Herman Doyle Bowen and Mamie Pearl Pannell Bowen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Allred Heating and Air in Tupelo.

Funeral services will be 1:00p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Locust Hill Church with Rev. David Ross and Rev. William Wages officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Jaye Hill (Jason) of Houston, TX; a son, Brian Christopher Laws (Nicole); three sisters, JoAnn Bowen, Hillary Self and Karen Bowen; one brother, David Joe Bowen; and seven grandchildren: Jackson Edward Laws, Brandon Everett Laws, Gavin Christopher Laws, Winston Nicholas Laws, Clair Catherine Hill, Charlotte Jerri Hill and Elliot Carl Hill.

Visitation will be Monday, February 11, 2019 from 5:00p.m. till 8:00p.m. at United Funeral Service and on Tuesday, February 12 from 12:00p.m. until service time at Locust Hill Church.
