Judy Diane “Grammy J” Holland Jetton, 67
October 27, 1958 – November 29, 2025
On Saturday, November 29, 2025, Judy Diane Holland Jetton—lovingly known to those who held her dearest as “Grammy J”—departed this earthly world and peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior at the age of 67.
Services remembering her sweet and precious life will be at 2 PM Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care, with visitation from 12 Noon until the time of service. Following the funeral, she will be laid to rest in McKay Cemetery in Myrtle, with no graveside service.
Born on October 27, 1958, in Memphis, Tennessee, Judy was the daughter of Ray and Bevely Holland. She was the cherished wife of her beloved late husband, Mr. Gary Jetton, and a devoted mother who poured her heart into raising the children she loved more than life itself. Of all the blessings the Lord gave her, being “Grammy J” to her precious grandchildren was her greatest joy—she wore that title like a crown.
A Christian woman, outside of caring for her family, Judy enjoyed the simple hobbies that brought her peace and happiness. She loved crafting—especially anything adorned with sunflowers, her favorite reminder of brightness and beauty. Many days were spent curled up watching Hallmark movies, usually with her loyal pup, Buddy, nestled contently in her lap. Whether she was painting, creating, watching a movie, or visiting with family, she embraced the little things that made life sweet.
Although her earthly chapter has closed, her legacy of love, kindness, and quiet joy will live on in every heart she touched. Her presence will surely be missed, but we rejoice in knowing she has been reunited with loved ones gone before her and now rests safely in the arms of her Savior
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Nick Galbreath (Mia), Brandon Galbreath (Megan), her grandkids, Landon, Hannah, Shelbi, Nolan Galbreath, her parents Ray and Bevely Holland, three brothers Mark Holland, Tim Holland, and James Holland, three sisters Sharon Bell, Tina Holland, and Beverly “Lynn” Rowe, and with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a life-long friend, Bobby Orman.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Jetton, daughter Shannon Galbreath, and brother Danny Holland.
