Judy Faye Hobbs, 70

January 19, 1954 – August 28, 2024

Judy Faye Hobbs was born on January 19, 1954, to the late Donald Boysworth and Ruth Louise Boysworth in Memphis, TN.  On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, she transitioned at her residence in Holly Springs, MS.



Judy accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethlehem the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Potts Camp, MS.   She served as a Sunday School Teacher.  She was a homemaker.  Judy was an outgoing individual who enjoyed helping everyone, taking care of children, hosting family events, cooking, gardening, and dancing at Church.

Judy leaves to cherish her loving memories: husband: Robert Hobbs of Holly Springs, MS; five sons: Danny Barber (Trena) of Potts Camp, MS, Nathaniel Hobbs (Crystal) of Byhalia, MS, Emmanuel Betts of North Carolina, Jonathan Betts of Southaven, MS, and Josiah Hobbs of Holly Springs, MS; three step sons:  Bart Hobbs of Holly Springs, MS, Steven Hobbs (Melanie) of Potts Camp, MS, and Bryan Hobbs (Melissa) of Saltillo, MS; two daughters: Michelle Clifton (Brian) of Georgia, and Tearinee Hobbs of Holly Springs, MS; three sisters: Ruth Bell of Arkansas, Dorothy Smith (William) of Washington, and Linda Cato (Kerry) of Florida; fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and a host of  nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her loving parents: Donald Boysworth and Ruth Louise Boysworth; and one sister: Jo Ann Garrett.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., at Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, 49 Overton School Road, Potts Camp, MS 38659

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 2, 2024, at  1:00 p.m., at Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, 49 Overton School Road, Potts Camp, MS 38659

Interment: Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Cemetery, Potts Camp, MS
