Kaleidoscope of Christmas exhibit through December at the Museum

Kaleidoscope of Christmas is the December exhibit at the Union County Heritage Museum featuring the work from the unique perspectives of clients of New Haven School, King Therapies, special needs students at New Albany High School and New Albany Middle School and other individuals.

“The museum is excited to host this exhibit that is distinctive to the many individuals who created the works, “ said Jill Smith, Museum Director.

“We appreciate working with King Therapies, New Haven School as well as local art teachers and individuals who helped us pull this exhibit together. Art is a great way to connect with others in the community and focus on the exceptional people who play a strong part in our lives and community,” she said.

Featured in the artwork are themes of Christmas and holidays, flowers, the solar system as well as ceramics, abstract work and three-dimensional work done by the artists.

Visit the museum to see the exhibit, the many decorations to and to celebrate the season. The museum is located at 114 Cleveland Street, New Albany. December hours are Monday – Friday 9 – 4, Saturday 10 – 3. The museum is closed Dec. 25 and 26.
