Mrs. Kathryn Suzanne Bailey, 69, died Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born May 6, 1957 in New Albany, MS. She attended Tupelo High School and was a graduate of Houlka High School. Suzanne married Joel Bailey, the love of her life, on November 22, 1974. She worked as a Medical Assistant, her last employment being with Urgent Care in Tupelo. She enjoyed reading, traveling all over the United States, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be at 4 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2026 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel – Holland Funeral Directors with her nephew, Austin Bailey officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 PM to service time. A graveside service will follow at Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include Suzanne’s husband of 51 years, Joel Bailey of Tupelo; 2 daughters, Michelle Lindsey (Jody) and Kim Bailey, all of Tupelo; 3 grandchildren, Riley Bruce, Bailey Bruce, and Hayden South; 3 brothers including JR Kilgore (Tina) and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Shirley Kilgore.

Pallbearers will be Parker Bailey, William Lesley, Mikey Vaughn, Tim Hammond, Greylin Keen, and Garvin Keen.
