Kathy Jean Billings, 70

October 6, 1954  –  July 23, 2025

Tupelo – Mrs. Kathy Jean Gregory Billings, age 70, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from Sanctuary Hospice House after a battle with cancer. She was born October 6, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee to the marital union of Leonard and Marie Gregory. Kathy was a high school graduate and worked many years as a Human Resource Manager retiring from Leggett & Platt. Kathy was married to Phillip Billings and had the pleasure of living in various places during his career before settling in Tupelo approximately 30 years ago, to include their favorite place San Carlos, Mexico.

Kathy enjoyed playing golf and enjoyed the company of a group of friends around her pool on weekends. She was an avid Ole Miss fan. She loved her two dogs, Zane and Ziva.

As per Kathy’s request there will be no formal service. An informal memorial gathering with family and friends honoring her memory will be at her house at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Survivors include Kathy’s son Heath Billings and his wife Mandy; her daughter Holli Rose and husband Hunter, all of Covington, TN; 6 grandchildren Huntley Rose, Madie Laine Rose, Cathleen Rose, Jaden Daniels, Bailey Daniels, and Aubrey Grace Billings; a host of other near relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Marie Gregory; her husband Phillip Billings; son, David Wayne Terry; siblings Lynn Gregory, Sharon Gregory and Debo Gregory.
