Katina Lasha White Fears, 46
December 24, 1977 – January 1, 2026
Katina was born on December 24, 1977, in Pontotoc, Mississippi, to Ms. JoAnn White. She transitioned to glory on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the age of 48.
Katina was energetic and full of spirit from childhood. As a young lady, she was known for her friendly smile and joyful presence. As she matured into womanhood, her warm spirit and listening ear made her someone people naturally felt comfortable around. She was kind and welcoming to those she worked with, worshipped with at church, and spent time with in her daily life.
Katina will be remembered for her gentle heart, her compassion for others, and the light she brought into every space she entered.
Katina professed her belief in Christ at a young age at Kyle Chapel MB church Vardaman ,MS where became a member. She was a 1996 graduate of Houston High School.
She attended Northeast community college, Booneville. She started her major work career at Alcor in Houston, MS. In life, Katina moved away from Houston, but she always remained a “Houston girl”. Her “Kirby” cousins/family meant the world to her, a bond that’s never broken. She loved spending time with her mom’s side (White’s) family on every opportunity she could be there.
Katina was blessed to fulfill many of her goals in life. In the early 2000’s, she was able to feel the dream of working with children by accepting employment at Mill Creek in Pontotoc, Mississippi. for 17 years on September 1st, 2007, she married Crispus D. Fears fulfilling another goal. To this union Katina gained 3 bonus children Devon A., Jersey and Ashton Fears. On January 9th, 2013, she fulfilled her ultimate goal by giving birth to her first child Crispus A. Fears who quickly transitioned her into being one of the most caring and loving mothers GOD could give a child. After 8 years of him being her everything. On April 21, 2021, GOD blessed her with a set of twins, Devon C. And Tucker. “The boys” as she called them, were her world! Katina had an outstanding mother-daughter relationship with her mother whom she loved dearly and talked to daily! Katina currently worked for the SOG of Tupelo. She loves her daily task of medial records and making her manager and co-works smile. She gave her team a person to always talk with.
Katina leaves to cherish her memories; Her loving mother, Jo Ann White of Houston, MS Crispus D. Crispus A. Devon C. and Tucker of ( Saltillo, MS) her brothers James ( Sha) White of Houston, MS Edward ( Sieria) White of Aberdeen, MS bonus son Jersey Fears of Tupelo, MS, bonus daughter Ashton Fears of Columbus, MS father and mother -in-law Albert and Omega Fears of Red Hill, sister in law Janet McCoy of Sherman, brother -in-law Rev Charles (Berta) Fears of Tupelo 2 grandchildren Kansas and Alaska Fears of Tupelo, All of her aunts and uncles for the white’s and the aunts and uncles from the Kirby’s. She leaves to cherish her memories as a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, coworkers, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and Mr. John Ester and Jessie Mae White. Mr. Johnnie and Elsia Davidson. Son, Devon A. Fears and Godson Karter Jayre Montogomery.
A service celebrating her life will be held at Noon, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Christian Fellowship Church in Houston, MS. Rev. Jimmy Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Chickasaw Co. Visitation will be from 4 PM-6PM THURSDAY, Jan. 8, 2026 at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo, which is honored to be serving the family.
