Kenzie Holland, 20
January 3, 2005 – April 25, 2025
Tupelo- Kenzie Holland passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 25, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Lee County to Thomas Earl Holland and Angela Dawn Deaton Nance, and from a young age, her stepfather, Chris, was a constant and supportive presence in her life. Kenzie had a special gift for connecting with people — she never met a stranger, always greeted others with a bright smile, and loved to bring joy wherever she went. Her heart for others was matched by her lively spirit; she loved music, singing, dancing, and spending time outdoors walking or riding bikes. Kenzie also had a passion for arts and crafts, especially drawing and making colorful creations with rubber bands, and she enjoyed playing video games in her free time.
Kenzie’s faith was an important part of her life. She attended both Priceville Baptist Church and Agape Ministries, where she found community and spiritual encouragement. Her kindness, creativity, and vibrant personality left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Though her time on earth was far too short, the love and happiness she shared with those around her will be remembered forever.
Kenzie leaves behind her parents, Angela Nance and Chris Nance of Tupelo, and Thomas Holland of Baldwyn; her beloved brother, Drew Holland of Plantersville; grandmother, Sheila Reed of Tupelo; aunts and uncle, Renee Wilson (John), Tan-Tan Lair both of Tupelo, Ottie Sue White of Baldwyn, and Sam Holland (Denise) of Tupelo; great-aunt, Louise Miller of Selmer, Tennessee; and cousins, Mattie Wilson, Rachel Lair, and Joey Lair.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clifford Buddy Deaton, Jr., Roger Reed, Carol Dixon, Frankie Jones, and Jay Jones; and her great-grandparents including, Virginia Dixon.
