Large power outage in New Albany.

New Albany Light, Gas & Water announced a power outage for “much of the east side of New Albany.”

At about 7p.m., Bill Mattox told NEMiss.News, “We have a big problem at the substation, we hope we can begin bringing it back in about 30 minutes.”

Early  reports were that a main transformer on Sub Station Rd. is involved.

Crews are at work.
