Larrie Hogue, 49

Larrie Janiece Hutcheson Hogue passed away on August 27, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Mississippi, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and faith that touched everyone who knew her.
Born on January 8, 1977, in New Albany, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Brenda and Jimmy Crumpton and the late Paul David Hutcheson. Larrie was raised with strong family values that shaped the gentle, caring woman she became. She was blessed with a close and loving family throughout her life, and she carried those bonds with her in all that she did.
Larrie is survived by her husband, Gerald W. Hogue, and her daughter, Laura Hogue. She is also survived by her sisters, Shelly Tanner and her husband B.J., and Brandi Crumpton. She lovingly raised her nephew, Landon Crumpton, as one of her own, and she held a special place in her heart for her step-mother, Judy Hutcheson. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Brittany Jeter and her husband Patrick, John Tanner, Gara Beth Self, Adin Crumpton, and Allie Crumpton, along with her three great-nephews, Jaden Jeter, Jensen Jeter, and Jude Jeter; and one great niece on the way.
Larrie devoted many years of service as a Teacher’s Assistant at Ingomar School, where she became known for her warm smile, her patience, and the genuine love she showed to the children she cared for each day. Her “school babies” held a special place in her heart, and she treasured the opportunity to encourage, comfort, and guide them. Her work was more than a job to her, and she made a lasting difference in the lives of countless students and families.
She was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and lived her life as a Christian with a heart for witnessing to others. Larrie loved going to church and found strength and joy in her faith. She loved people deeply and had a gift for making others feel welcome and cared for. Her kindness was evident in the way she spoke, the way she served, and the way she lived each day.
Larrie also found great joy in her family and in cooking for them. She loved gathering loved ones around the table and sharing meals prepared with care and affection. She enjoyed Ingomar ballgames and cherished the simple, meaningful moments spent supporting the people and places she loved. Those who knew her will remember her as loving, kind, and funny, with a spirit that could brighten any room.
Her life was a beautiful reflection of devotion to family, faith, and community. Larrie Hogue will be remembered for her generous heart, her steadfast love, and the many ways she blessed the lives of others.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until funeral service time at 4:00 p.m. All times will be at united Funeral Service. Bro. David Barnett and Bro. Marty Merritt will officiate. Burial will be at Vista Memorial Park.
