County Could Become 2nd Amendment Safe Haven
Members decided to vote for the consideration of Lee County becoming a Safe Haven for the 2nd Amendment. Being a Safe Haven county would allow local officials to block laws that violate the 2nd Amendment rights.
Emergency Fund Approved for Road Repair
Members also voted to approve an emergency fund of $6,000. The fund will be used to repair water damage on RD 2296. This is one of the areas in the county which has been damaged by the heavy rains over the past few months.
New Garbage Truck
A vote was made to consider the purchase of a new garbage truck for the county. The new truck would cost $217,984, and could be delivered immediately if approved.
