Lee Ottis Galloway, 77

September 10, 1947 – February 26, 2025

TUPELO – Lee Ottis Galloway, 77, passed away February 26, 2025, at North Mississippi Hospice Unit surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Galloway was born September 10, 1947.



A decorated Veteran, Lee served as a MP in Vietnam. Once returning home, he specialized in welding and mechanical work for local companies. After retiring, he loved to go camping and crappie fishing. He also loved singing and was a member of his local church choir.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmon and Willie Galloway. Lee has one daughter, Eden Griffith (Whitney) and one brother, Jimmy Galloway (Laura). He has three nephews, Steve Galloway (Susan), Austin Haney (Ali Mara) and Cody Haney (Jonathan). He has one niece, Debbie Galloway Fisher (Kevin), one great-niece, Kristen Leach (Nick), two great-nephews, Cory Fisher (Tim) and Kevin Fisher, one great-grandniece, Stella Leach and one great-grandnephew, Oliver Leach.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors located at 5281 Cliff Gookin Boulevard in Tupelo. Services will be at 12 PM with Brother Gary Gray officiating. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed at 12 PM at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/live-streaming and will be archived thereafter. A private burial will follow at Lee Memorial Park. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
