New Albany, MS-The Jennie Stephens Smith Library had 3,500 visitors even though it was closed 4 days in the month of November for holidays. 20 new library cards were issued for New Albany residents, and 21 new library cards were issued for Union County residents.

 

For the month of December the following events are scheduled for the Coker Speck Auditorim

Dec  1          Girl Scout Troop   6PM

Dec  7          Tutoring 2:30 – 6PM

Dec  9           Life Core Map Team   9AM

Dec  9           CNS Staffing 2 – 4 PM

Dec 14          Tutoring 2:30 – 6 PM

Dec 15          Union County Schools  9 AM

Dec 19          Luncheon with Books  Rev. Tim Prather discussing Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Christmas Sermons

Dec 21         Tutoring 4 – 6 PM

Dec 28         Tutoring 4 – 6 PM

 

If you have friends that you don’t know what they would like for Christmas, please consider an honorarium for them for the library.
