Linda Kay Whitt, 73

Linda Kay Whitt, 73, resident of Olive Branch, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Baptist Memorial hospital in Oxford following an extended illness.

Services will be private.

Ms. Whitt was born on October 13, 1949, the daughter of the late Billy and Emma Goolsby Jeanes. She was a graduate of the Benton County Public School System and was the owner and operator of her cleaning business that she successfully ran for over 35 years before retirement.

A Christian and collector of angels and pictures, Ms. Whitt enjoyed cooking, watching westerns on television and mesmerizing children with her stories of the past.

“Her mouth is full of wisdom; kindly teaching is on her tongue.” Proverbs 31:26

Those left to cherish memories her daughter, Lisa Brown (Brian) of Southaven, four sons, Michael Bryant of Ashland, Timmy Bryant (Maria) of Ashland, Mark Whitt of New Albany, and Kevin Whitt of Ashland, three sisters, Patsy Jeanes of Ashland, Gayle Mayo of Booneville, Jackie Jeanes of Ashland, two brothers, Don Jeanes of Ashland, Danny Jeanes of Ashland and nine grandchildren.
