Liz Faye, 47

October 11, 1977 – April 29, 2025

Elizabeth Diane Lessel Faye, known warmly to friends and family as Liz, departed this world on April 29, 2025, at the age of 47. Her final moments were spent at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, leaving this earth as gracefully as she lived her life.

Born on October 11, 1977, in New Albany, MS, Liz was the beloved daughter of Juanita Poe Lessel and the late James Alton Lessel. Her adventurous spirit was matched only by her loving heart, both of which she shared generously with her husband Ronnie Bond Faye, her adoring children Abby Nicole Faye, Kenneth Wayne Richardson, and Cody Bond Faye, and her siblings Ladell Poe (Thomas) and Philip Sparks (Lisa). Liz was predeceased by her father James and brother Joey Sparks.

Liz brought immense dedication and care to her role as a Team Lead at DV in Blue Springs, MS. She poured passion into every task, earning the respect and affection of her colleagues. Outside of work, her creativity shone through in the beautiful crafts and paintings she created, and the memorable photographs she captured.

Liz enjoyed life’s simple pleasures; a refreshing frappe, a vibrant loaded tea, and most importantly, the cherished moments spent with her family. Her bright smile, creative touch, and friendly demeanor left an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Today, we honor Liz by celebrating the loving, friendly, and creative soul she was. Her legacy of warmth and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her extraordinary spirit.
