Local museum will hold solar eclipse viewing event

A Solar Eclipse Viewing Event will be held at the Union County Heritage Museum on August 21 from 11:56 until the eclipse ends. New Albany will have 93 % coverage.

Free viewing glasses. Bring your lunch and lawn chair and come and enjoy the eclipse. Educational materials will be available, and there will be live streaming of the eclipse inside the museum, and lively company with whom to watch.

Homeschoolers are welcome, as well and anyone else who wants to participate.
