Lorena Lopez, 34

August 15, 1989 – June 25, 2024

Lorena Jazmin Lopez, 34, of Pontotoc, passed away peacefully at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice on June 25, 2024. Born on August 15, 1989, in Mexico to Lorenzo Lopez and Maria del Carmen Lopez, Lorena was a cherished daughter, partner, mother, and sister.

Lorena was employed by Behold Washington, LLC. in Pontotoc, where her dedication and hard work were evident, even as she bravely battled cancer. Her perseverance and strength were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Above all, Lorena was a devoted mother whose children were her greatest joy. She is survived by her parents, her long-time partner Ausalon Borrallas; her daughters America Reynoso, Flor Borrallas, and Dalila Borrallas; her sons Alexander Reynoso and Kaleb Borrallas; and her beloved sisters Rosa Lopez and Guadalupe Lopez. Her love for cooking brought joy and comfort to her family, creating lasting memories around the dinner table.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., followed by the funeral service at 3:00 P.M. All services will take place at Associated Family Funeral Home in Tupelo.
