Make reservations for annual Union Co. Historical Society meeting
As May is Preservation Month, it is fitting that the Architecture of New Albany and the Importance of Preservation is the topic of this year’s Annual Meeting of the Union County Historical Society set May 6, noon at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
Jim Woodrick, Historic Preservation Division Director with Mississippi Department of Archives and History, is the guest speaker.
The annual luncheon is free to the members of the Society; however, reservations must be made by May 3, 5 p.m. calling the museum at 662-538-0014 or emailsjill@ucheritagemuseum.com.
