ATV accident kills man in Myrtle

Myrtle MS–A man was killed about noon today, Monday, Sept. 3, in an accident with an all terrain vehicle (ATV) near Myrtle.

Ronald Shaun Phillips, age 51, died when the “four-wheeler” ATV he was riding turned over. Phillips was alone. No others were injured in the ATV accident.

A resident of Tennessee, Phillips was riding the ATV while working on land he owns in western Union County, according to Union County Coroner, Pam Bowman.
