Marion Harris, 61

June 14, 1963  –  January 15, 2025

PONTOTOC COUNTY – Marion Denise “NECEE” Garmon Harris, 61, died on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 15, 2025 after a period of declining health. Necee was born on June 14, 1963 in Pontotoc Co. to the late Willie Melvin Garmon and Carolyn Williams Garmon. She grew up in the Palmetto Community of Lee County where she was loved and nurtured by her family and a host of friends. Necee was a longtime faithful Christian and active in all the activities of Victory Temple Holiness Church, where she ministered, served as the Chairwoman of the Usher Board, a Sunday school teacher, and head of the Kitchen Committee. Her faith was evidenced early in life with her commitment to Christ and her baptism. A lovely lady who never met a stranger, Necee was the perfect Mother and grandmother (Granny). She made great sacrifices for her children and grandchildren seeing that they had all of what they needed and much of what they wanted. She spent much of her working career in the child care industry, loving and nurturing children and providing them a solid foundation for growth and development. She now realizes face to face the promises of her lifelong commitment to her Savior. Praise be to God!
