Mary Alice Wooley Swift, 75

Myrtle-Mary Alice Wooley Swift, 75, died Saturday, July 30, 2022. She was born August 3, 1946 to Kelsey Matthew Wooley and Mamie Emmagene Dickerson Wooley. She was a retired factory worker, who worked for Cleo Wrap of Memphis, TN for over 20 years. She loved volunteering at the local nursing home, having yard sales, shopping, and enjoyed food at her favorite restaurant (Two Sisters Diner). She adored her family above all else and spent all the time she could with them. She was of the Methodist faith and attended Myrtle United Methodist Church when she was able to do so. She will be greatly missed by her family.



Services for Mrs. Swift will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 10:00am at United Funeral Service with Bro. Marty Browning officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00pm till 8:00pm on Monday, August 1, and on August 2, 2022 from 9:00am till the start of the service at 10:00am also at United Funeral Service.

She is survived by one son, Ronald Crouch (Dorie) of Myrtle; two daughters, Cindi Pemberton (Mike) of Michigan and Denise Swift of Memphis; her grandchildren, Ashley Shettles, Keeley McCord (Eric), Bradley Shettles, Lauren Thompson (Josh) and Joseph Swift; and six great grandchildren, Hayden, Parker, Ben, Jane, Asher and Ethan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Swift; a son, David Vincent Swift; and three sisters, Lillian Davis, Gussie Davis and Peggy Sappington.
