Mason, Tennessee – Mary Ann Russell, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026. She was born on October 15, 1943, to the late James Allen Williams and Lexie Lois Faulk Williams, who instilled in her the values of kindness, faith, and devotion to family that would define her life.
Mary Ann dedicated many years to her career as a real estate agent, where she was known for her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for others. She was proudly associated with Crye-Leike Real Estate Agency and built lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike. For many years, she also served as a gracious Miss Mississippi Pageant Hostess, a role she carried out with elegance and pride. A woman of strong faith, she was a faithful member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Mary Ann was sweet, caring, and deeply compassionate, always finding joy in seeing and helping others. She cherished time spent with her family above all else and dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She shared 63 loving years of marriage with her devoted husband, Glynn Russell, and together they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. Mary Ann will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and the many lives she touched. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Glynn Russell; children, Greg Russell (Kate) of Southaven and LeAnn Hill (Greg) of Tupelo; grandchildren, Hunter Hill (Nici) of Nesbit, Lexie Wildmon (Walker) of Tupelo, Keely Booth (Preston) of Pelahatchie, Baylor Harris (T.J.) of Northport, AL, and Lucy Hill of Tupelo; and great-grandchildren, Davis Hill, Eli Hill, both of Nesbit and Luke Wildmon, Samuel Wildmon, Andrew Wildmon, Isaac Wildmon, Elizabeth Wildmon, all of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Jerry Williams and Jim Tom Williams.
