BREWER – Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Wells, 44, of the Brewer community, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Beth was born on October 20, 1980, to Mary Melinda Conwill Wells and William Lee Wells. She was a lifelong resident of the Brewer community where she enjoyed a quiet life with her children. Beth was an amazing and devoted mother, showing up for every event that her two children were involved in. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and listening to crime podcasts.

Beth is survived by her children, Nathan Miles and April Miles of Brewer; her brother, William Wells of Brewer; sister, Heather Barlow Ransom, and nephew, Dom of Fulton MS; nephew, Mark Wells (Kendra); a great-nephew, Jasper, a great-niece, Blue, of Red Bay AL: and father, William Lee Wells of Pontotoc, MS.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Melinda Conwill Wells: her grandparents, Arthur Eckersley and Martha Ann Young Conwill Eckersley; and great-grandparents William Edward and Janie Maybell Wells.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 PM Friday, May 16, 2025, at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo. Visitation will be from 11 AM to service time. Burial will take place at Brewer Cemetery. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed at 2 PM on Friday at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/live-streaming and archived thereafter.
