Mary Virginia Triplett, 65, transitioned on Tuesday, July 30, at Diversicare, in Ripley, MS

Mary Virginia Triplett was born July 1, 1959 in Union County, Mississippi to Mattie Mae and Charlie B. Triplett. She departed this life July 30, 2024, at Diversicare of Ripley, MS.

Mary was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed walking, and babysitting her nieces and nephews. She never met a stranger. Before her health declined, she was self-employed. From an early age, she was a member of Palestine M.B. Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son; Colby (Shaunta) Triplett, one grandson; Zykielee Triplett all of Blue Mountain, MS, four sisters: Nita Gibbs, Donna Gibbs, Loretta Gibbs all of Blue Mountain, MS and Jeanett Gibbs of New Albany, MS, three brothers; Ricky Triplett of New Albany, MS, Sam Triplett of Ripley, MS, Willie Triplett of Aberdeen, MS, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Mattie Mae and Charlie B. Triplett, one brother; Charles Lee Triplett and her grandparents.

Visitation will be held at Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.  until time of service, at Palestine M.B. Church, 690 CR 830, Blue Mountain, MS  38610.

Services  will be held at Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.,  at Palestine M.B. Church, 690 CR 830, Blue Mountain, MS  38610.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
