Nettleton – Mr. Michael “Mickey” Joe Neal, 58, died Saturday, April 25, 2026 at North MS Medical Center – Hospice Unit. He was born January 9, 1968 in Batesville, MS to the union of Lee Albert Neal and Barbara Wright Neal. Michael worked as a contractor building residential housing. He was a man of faith who loved his family. He greatly loved and adored his grandchildren and in his younger years before his health began to fail, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and cooking out with family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be at 1 PM, Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at Victory Baptist Church, Nettleton, with Bro. Mike McCollum officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM – service time Saturday only.

Survivors include Michael’s wife, Linda Brown of Amory; sons, Vince Neal (Beth) and Channing Neal (girlfriend – Brittany) all of Nettleton, and stepson, Chris Gray (Kim) of Amory; stepdaughter, Casey Brown (Derrick) of Detroit, MS; brother, Timmy Neal (Karen) of Nettleton; sisters, Abby Sullivan (Myron) of Nettleton, and Sarah Kennedy of Batesville; grandchildren Kameron Williams, Makinley Neal, Brayden Neal, Bentley Neal, and Kristy-Beth Neal; one great-grandchild, Ruby Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Barbara Neal; Daughter, Kristy Williams; 4 brothers, Harold Neal, James Neal, W. T. Neal, and Lee Neal; 1 sister, Eloise Woods.
