Murry W. Calomese, 72

March 14, 1953 – November 24, 2025

Murry was born on March 14, 1953 to the late Elbert Bowdry and Daisy Calomese.

Murry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Martha Nell Calomese and to this union one child was born Cory W. Friar who preceded him in death.

He professed his faith in Christ and united with Ruben C.M.E Church where he was a devoted member and Trustee. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by five (5) brothers: Cecil, James, Joe Calomese, Billy and Bobby Bowdry, two (2) sisters: Sherlyn Springer and Geraldine Gillard and one (1) son-in-law Johnathan Bell

Murry leaves to cherish his memories in life to his wife of 34 years Martha Nell Calomese three (3) sons: Calvin McGaha (Ella) of Baldwyn, MS, J.R. Gamble (Khajdesha) Tupelo, MS, Demont “Bruce” Friar (Baldwyn, MS), two (2) daughters: Tamekia Bell of Baldwyn, MS, Sophia Chandler (Thomas) of Saltillo, MS, one (1) sister: Rosalyn McCoy (Charlie) Tupelo, MS, eleven (11) grandchildren, five (5) great-grandchildren, Special nephews, Wallace Calomese and Elbert Bowdry Jr., and host of nieces and nephews.
