Art and Photography during the Civil War is the topic of the final Museum Moments of 2018 at the Union County Heritage Museum in New Albany on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 at 12 noon.

Historian Rebekah Rinehart, a graduate of Blue Mountain College, will present the program.

A light lunch will be available courtesy of the new Century Club beginning at 11:30.

Rinehart, who has recently moved to New Albany, will show images of the different types of artwork, photography and engravings of the people, the battle scenes and the effects on the population. More than 3,000 photographs were made during this period using the wet plate method.

The public is invited to attend. Museum Moments is made possible by the Community Partner Program.
