NAFD fights house fire on Hobson St.

New Albany Fire Chief Mark Whiteside reports to NEMiss.News that there was a residential structure fire on Hobson St. in New Albany.

The fire was reported to the New Albany Fire Department at about 3:40 p.m. today, Tuesday June 6, 2023.

When the fire crews arrived on the scene, the fire was already beginning to come through the home’s roof.

A very aggressive fire attack brought the fire under control quickly.
