NAHS celebrates homecoming next week

New Albany High School will celebrate homecoming week next week, culminating with activities Friday.

The week will begin with traditional dress-up days in which students dress according to themes.

Monday, Oct. 19, will be Mathlete vs. Athlete, or Nerd vs. Jock. Tuesday will be Rapper, Rocker or Cowboy Day. Wednesday will be Hero vs. Villain Day. Thursday will be Homecoming T-Shirt Maroon and White Day and Friday will be Dress to Impress Day.

The homecoming parade will be Thursday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 7 p.m. The parade will start at First United Methodist Church and go down Bankhead and back up Main Street.

The formal day program to present the court will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in the high school auditorium while the evening program will be at 6:30 p.m. on Kitchens Field.

Maid Maggie Scott, with day escort Carson Gault and night escort Grant Richey

Maid Endya Worship, with day escort Al Nugent and night escort Patrick Zyla
