NAHS Journalism projects will benefit three local organizations
The Journalism Class at New Albany High School will be doing group projects for their semester exam. These group projects will benefit our community. Each group will create a high-quality, professional commercial for one community organization which they can then use for their benefit on social media and/or send to news outlets.
A representative from three groups served as guest speakers for the Journalism Class on November 15-17 to discuss their organizations and brainstorm ideas with the students.
On Wednesday, November 15, the guest speaker was Marquel Conner with the Boys & Girls Club of New Albany. On Thursday, November 16, Billye Jean Stroud with the New Albany Main Street Association was the guest speaker. Lisa Smith of the Union County Humane Society spoke to the students on Friday, November 17.
