NAMS poetry contest winners announced

New Albany MS – Nine New Albany Middle School students were selected by Blue Mountain College as the local winners of the New Albany Garden Club sponsored poetry contest.

7th grade: Josie Campbell, Eva Aldridge, and Julianna Scott

6th grade: Jeb Bolen, Lucy King, Will Chism

8th grade: Julianne Littlejohn, Brianna Ligon, Logan Blakemore

After completing a unit in Tracy Vainisi’s class, students were encouraged to express and explore their creative thoughts through different types of poetry.
