Nancy Marie High Kesler, 83

February 5, 1942 – April 19, 2025

Mrs. Nancy Marie High Kesler, 83, entered into her Heavenly Home on Saturday April 19, 2025, at the New Albany Health and Rehab following an extended illness.

Per her request, Mrs. Nancy will be cremated, and although no services are scheduled at this moment, the family ask that you continue to lift them in prayers and share the wonderful stories made with such a remarkable lady, as she held a special place in the hearts of so many.

Born February 5, 1942, in Holly Springs, Mississippi, Mrs. Nancy was the daughter of the late Ernest and Virginia Greene High. She was a graduate of Holly Springs High School, while in earlier years making gorgeous plantation style ruffle curtains, hanging in really tall windows of beautiful homes and businesses. Throughout her life, Mrs. Nancy worked as a medical transcriptionist for over thirty years, serving the medical profession well during her career. Mrs. Nancy settled in the Myrtle Beach area, where her and her second husband, Mr. Jim Kesler, enjoyed one another’s companionship. Together they spent many days going to dance clubs around north myrtle beach, shag dancing with each other, and listening to all the great beach music classics.

Always caring for and tending to Mr. Jim during his illness, after his passing in October of 2016, Mrs. Nancy never faltered in caring for others. Her guidance, love, and support were the foundation of her family. Jay, her son, always said she was his best friend, as he knew she would do anything for him. Her daughter, Virginia, also reflects on the great amount of love Mrs. Nancy had for her, living in Maui with her several times, helping with her growing family. She took great pride in being a grandmother and mother, loving each one of them, always assuring them they would be loved no matter what.

Throughout her life, Mrs. Nancy knew the importance of being there for others. Although the world is certainly dimmer without her, we reflect on all the laughs we shared, memories we made, and love she gave. Until we meet again, we continue to carry her with us, for her love has shaped us in who we are and will always guide us for the rest of our days.

Those left to cherish her memories include one son, Jay Kimery, one daughter, Virgina Wolff, grandchildren, Walker Raymond Wolff, Wynter Marie Wolff, and Waverly Wolff, one stepdaughter, Julie Crooks (Tim), grandchildren, Dani Corbin (Marcellus), and Kati Reddell (Tyler), one great grandchild, Axel Reddell, and a loving amount of family and friends.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Mr. Jim, she is also preceded in death by one son that she loved dearly, Jimmie Landers Kimery, Jr., and two sisters, Amy High Donathan, and June High Johnson.
