From: Chris Robertson, New Albany Chief of Police

To the good people of New Albany, Union County, and surrounding areas.

Today, Monday November 17th, 2025, The Mayor and the Board of Alderman have authorized me to offer a CASH REWARD for information leading to the arrest of the individuals who were responsible for the senseless shooting that occurred in New Albany in the early morning hours on November 11th, Veteran’s Day. This is a united front from our City Government declaring this behavior is unacceptable in New Albany. The city is offering a $3,000 cash reward for information that results in an arrest or arrests.

Now to the individuals who perpetrated this crime, we’re getting close to the holidays and $3,000 would go a long way to help most folks. How close are your friends? How close are your relatives? These are things you might want to consider. The money will go to the FIRST person that results in an arrest. FIRST COME FIRST SERVED!!
If you have any information please call the New Albany Police Department at 662-534-2222 or Crime Stoppers of North Mississippi at 1-800-773-8477
