Well that’s a good start. Hopefully the government will start spending a little money to start interrupting the crap coming from Mexico, too. That’s where A LOT of this stuff is coming from. It’s sad that our own government won’t put more emphasis on something that kills or destroys millions of lives annually.

The government already spends an absurd amount of money (billions) on the “Drug War”. Why do you think the government doesn’t put enough emphasis on drugs? We have the FBI, ATF, DEA, and the MS Bureau of Narcotics all working together to reduce or eliminate drugs. I agree that they should continue trying to reduce the amount of hard drugs in the United States, but cannabis or marijuana(a derogatory word directed at Hispanics for those who didn’t know) which requires nothing but a seed, soil, and rain to grow should be legal. It is illogical for humans to put a restriction on growing a plant. Unlike drugs and alcohol, nothing has to be done to cannabis for it to be used. Most people think you have to smoke it, but there are many other ways it can be used such as cooking or in a vaporizer, which gives you the same benefit minus the smoke in your lungs. Our government has such a tight grip on cannabis that very few people are even allowed to conduct studies on the plant. Breeders have bred cannabis strains that do not get you “high”, but only help reduce pain. We have no problem popping a Tylenol or some opioid pill, but no way should we be able to use something not-man-made for pain… I believe there is a use for every thing God placed on this planet. It is up to us to use it for good.
